Re: Final Paint Blend?

Possibly the exact colour is one of, if not the most frquently, asked questions. How about only supplying the "final" answer by post to those asking, in return for a donation naturally ! Could just be in the form of a certificate indicating the RAL No. or even a sample pot. Good website update by th...

Re: What did you get for Christmas?

Just got round to browsing through these photo's, many thanks to all contributors.
Any thought been given to a photo archive cd for the shop ? Or would that get bogged down with copyright issues ?
Happy new year.

Re: Bluebird Calendar

Here's an idea, it is a raising money idea,so I hope this is the right thread. When the boat is finally floated I would guess that there will be some mucking about with ballast weights to get the trim right - Yes? Now I don't know how much ballast weight was removed, but assuming there are some size...

Re: Technical Talk

Yes, I thought you'd be after something authentic. I'll post a couple of tubes anyway, it is pretty useful stuff on any boat, so if not deemed correct for the blue one I'm sure you'll find another use for it !
Cheers,

In our offshore and sub-sea equipment we use "Stuart Aquashield" . This is a gloopy blueish gunk in tubes, and is pretty u...

Re: BBP Diary

Great to see the update, nice bit about the Dymo labels, their addition is probably just as important to the authenticity as any other piece, and from the original machine too!

As I said before Nigel, I don't give wickepedia much credance anyway. In my experience cyberspace has more mis-information than truth in it generally. My understanding of wickepedia is that pretty much anybody can edit an entry once they sign up, a bit like this forum. So why not get in there and se...
