if they choose the latter, I know a group of people who specialise in rebuilding twisted and otherwise destroyed lumps of aluminium.

I have a stack of rusty junk under the mini in the garage, a usual sight for a mini, however, in this case the rusty junk is bits of tank. I have a stack or reproduction fuel tanks which I need to fuse the ends with my Tig. just the usual fair. like I say, this one is in far better state than my fir...

Yep...sorry.... a lot less broken on this one, and being a Mk2 it’s more civilised to run / maintain. This one has its original factory TL numbered engine too. Might just weld the armour back on though, as I don’t rivet. :D Tracks are mint but the pins are all snapped due to extreme sub zero temps w...

Another sticking point was that 99% of the work was completed by JCB and the team of volunteers at the Norfolk tank Museum. Guy turned up and attached one roller then dissapeared.


None of the volunteers got a mention


That boils my juices something crazy.

I watched it tonight. I thought it wasn’t up to much at all. A major manufacturer Like JCB justifying not riveting the plate (we weld we don’t rivet) was very poor. Why go to the effort of reproducing something to meticulous German plans, to then not do it properly ?! Then they go and fit an engine ...
