Re: Sponsons Display - Ruskin Museum Saturday 27th June

We'll hopefully be there this afternoon after 3pm, going to watch the Vulcan go down Lake Windermere first as its probably last time to see it flying for us.

Re: January 2017- Displaying K7

Not sure if this is the most appropriate page to post this but living in the Lakes I noticed an article in the Westmorland Gazette last week on Bluebird.

Here is the link:

Re: 4th January 2015

Thanks Novie. Please don't feel like you have to defend the meetings publicity at all, it's my own fault for not been aware of these meetings. We have usually just gone up to Coniston and 'done our own thing'. I've followed the SRC Facebook page now so should see the future meetings and activities. ...

Re: 4th January 2015

We visited Coniston on the 4th January. What a shame I knew nothing of any meeting.

After visiting his grave we went to the plaques and took this photograph.

Re: The Extremely Off Topic 'Strictly Come Dancing' Thread

Enjoyed our stay in Blackpool again for the third year meeting the people involved.

Kids got their Strictly 2014 books almost fully signed and got photos.

Len, Bruno and Bruce are really really nice people. :D

Re: The Extremely Off Topic 'Strictly Come Dancing' Thread

We've booked the usual hotel that they are stopping at when they do the Blackpool show to do annual meet and greet with the kids :D

Re: The Sponsons Thread

I'm not sure if this video (scenes after the crash of debris) has been seen much. I've not come acrossthis video of the parts been washed up before.

I think it contains shots of the Sponsons but I may be well out.
