Re: Bute / Coniston Back to Back

I'm curious as to what happens when Covid-19 gets to the point where it's somewhat manageable, and things start opening up again. Right now, everything is locked down. The township's economy couldn't be faring too well, and will take a while to gain momentum again. Surely a big event with K7 would h...

Re: Off the Rails - Train Stuff

Cheers! It wasn't too hot at the time those photos were taken. Actually, it's been a fairly cool summer over here so far. We've had a few heatwaves, but they're over within a day or three, then it's back to rain and cold to mild days. Here's some more from late last year. December was pretty much th...

Re: Off the Rails - Train Stuff

Nice shots there, Cap'n! Been a while since I've posted anything - a fair bit has happened since my last post. We're not really in lockdown over here, so hopefully this will be of some interest. I guess you could say it's sort of a 'virtual' trip to Aus for everyone reading? *Anyhow...Have a seat an...

Re: Bute / Coniston Back to Back

Any updates on second meeting or next steps? Unfortunately, despite the best efforts of Jordan and Peter, the first meeting achieved nothing and our date to arrange a second meeting came and went without so much as the courtesy of a reply so, with regret, it's in the hands of our lawyers now. I rea...

Re: Off the Rails - Train Stuff

Hi Folks, hope you're all doing well and are safe from the dreaded Spon Plague. Here's a few recent photos that may be of interest to someone out there. CM3305+CM3304 with 7762V loaded wheat train from Dimboola, passing through Langi Logan at dusk on 20/9/20. Keen observers will note the positive re...

Re: Bute / Coniston Back to Back

I'm surprised old mate Stuckleberry didn't volunteer to do it.

Re: Bute / Coniston Back to Back

If they really want to see K7 in their museum, they need to start making an effort and communicate. This stalemate will simply continue indefinitely if they don't. If the Ruskin did try to take this to court, their non-communication would in, my estimation, work against them. I always like this one...

Re: Bute / Coniston Back to Back

It doesn't take much to organise a Zoom meeting. I've taken part in a few recently at short notice. You simply punt the participants a message telling them the time, and the login code. Everyone logs on, you have the discussion, make a decision which suits everyone, then contact the other party with...

Re: Bluebird & Other Scale Models

It only seems to be the preview on the main page. If you click on the preview for the full sized view, it loads the right way up. Rather strange...
