Thanks for that- the new cards with the glorious photo of the boat deploying the water brake in the sunshine against some lovely Scottish scenery following a 157mph run seem to be a hit...can't think why! ;)

...and yet, just today, someone at the Ruskin Museum saw fit to 'share' one of the more wibbly bits of recent social media 'discussion' to their Facebook page. Obviously, they weren't sat anywhere near a telephone at the time, though. :roll:

I was under the impression that it was well accepted that the front planing surface had failed, given that it was known to be moving and had been stiffened up previously.
