Just had a word with a local and apparently the Villagers at that time where very excited at the film being made and having famous stars coming to town. ITV Granada News has just reported on bluebirds return to Coniston in 2019. Showed Donalds accident and stated bluebird had since been restored by his son :roll:

I guess the whereabouts of F20, steering box, column and steering wheel are not known?

Batteries "look" in great shape, just hope the internals survived all them years under water and will throw out a few amps once again!

What was the condition of the wiring throughout the boat? Can it be restored or will it be a complete/part rewire?

Great news some of the original right hand sponson has been saved and will be put back where it belongs 8-)
