Was a guest at the Submariners Association Memorial Weekend on the Clyde. It was all very moving, and particularly so when a wreath was laid over the wreck of HMS Vandal, lost with all 37 hands north of Arran in 1943 and now a designated war grave. Delivered this old girl from Arbroath to her new owners in Guernsey. Stuck in North Shields for three days by some iffy weather, so felt compelled to sample a few Tynemouth boozers - liked the Cumberland Arms. :D

Ok for you lot to go on about how beautiful it is. You dont have to rivet the bugger. I don't know...you lads give him a beautifully sculpted work of aluminium art and a handful of nails and all he does is moan, moan, moan!
