Re: Bluebird & Other Scale Models

Richie. I am a member of the UK model submariners association and will ask if there's any kits of that one.
I have an Radio control British WW2 S class with my own design dive system and a Russian Akula again with my own design RC system. Good fun.
Do you want a static or RC model?

Re: LOST!! Hep Me!! Hep Me!!

Just like to add that this is between the Ruskin museum CHT and BBP and has absolutely sod all to do with anyone else. All of you key board warriors have been invited to the workshop to air your views. Where are you. We have great support world wide. Your frustration is clear and understandable but...

Re: Off the Rails - Train Stuff

I have been reading this thread with interest. Good stuff! I was about13 years old, 60 years ago, and an avid train spotter living in Ashington Northumberland. I have never forgotten the sound of a Deltic approaching at speed on its way South. It was 'Lancon Paddy' . Tremendous machines. Like many ...

Re: LOST!! Hep Me!! Hep Me!!

Sam 68. Better if you post under your real name, carries more weight. Anyway the 2019 document is I believe being used to cloud the issue. It simply clarifies ownership transfer that took place in 2006 when Miss Campbell gifted K7 to the Ruskin. I believe it should have been the Campbell heritage tr...

Re: LOST!! Hep Me!! Hep Me!!

One other point is this. I do much work for members of my model boat club on a voluntary basis. Often this involves weeks of work striping out models to rebuild them however I never charge even when I have used my own materials/parts. I could never envisage a situation arising when I tell an owner t...

Re: LOST!! Hep Me!! Hep Me!!

My understanding is that the Ruskin Museum have formally requested in writing the return of their property. They have also placed in the public domain those documents that are relevant, I had sight of those some time ago and hence my previous comments on this forum. Property held by one individual w...

Re: Bluebird & Other Scale Models

This shows the major difference in size between K7 and Crusader. Crusader model at 1/8th scale. K7 at 1/6th scale. Crusader was a big boat!

Re: Bluebird & Other Scale Models

An interesting collection; Forum member Rich 1/8th Bluebird with gas turbine engine. Also his large model of Spirit of Australia fitted with a gas turbine. My 1/6th Bluebird, gas turbine powered (now owned by my son Ian) and my Grandsons 1/12th scale Bluebird which was the very first Radio control m...
