Re: Blue Bird K4

you could always attempt a 2 seat BBO replica. we could all go for a ride then? ;) Or we could make a new Miss England II thingamabob with a couple of spare seats and you could blast people up and down Windermere. Except you probably couldn't and we'd have to do that in the land of common sense too...

Re: Blue Bird K4

Miss England 11 was indeed salvaged, rebuilt and modified. Bottom sheathed in 1/16 stainless steel. In 1931 Kaye Don piloted the boat to a new world record of 103.49mph, three months later he raised it to 110.2mph. Sorry I have forgotten what happened to the boat after that. I have a set of press ph...

Re: Donald Campbell's restored Bluebird in museum home row

Bill. Following on from Jetts posts, Does the contract you wish the Ruskin to sign require the trustees to agree that the BBP undertakes all future maintenance work? if it does is there any requirement for payment for the work at any time subsequent to the handover. Regarding the second agreement in...

Re: Donald Campbell's restored Bluebird in museum home row

Bill are Jetts comments not correct? is there no signed contract altering the terms of the original signed agreements? That's the information I have. Do you have a signed contract dated after 2006? Just asking. I am sure its of interest to readers. I am not labouring my well read comments on this th...

Re: Donald Campbell's restored Bluebird in museum home row

I love Bluebird- all types of Bluebird especially Echeveria 'Bluebird' from my collection of rare succulents ( I know, another anorak hobby :) )
Just trying to input a little less intensity.

Re: Donald Campbell's restored Bluebird in museum home row

Healey nut wrote. What is it about the restoration and running of K7 that you find so distasteful

Read back in this thread, its all there I am not going to repeat it :) Don't think you will find anything to justify the last word you wrote.

Re: Donald Campbell's restored Bluebird in museum home row

My son misunderstood what I said. I will continue to post on this thread. He and I disagree about K7 but that's okay. Others must however refrain from trying to play him against me. Enough said on that. To lighten up a little and to introduce references to chess as started by Richie; There is a wide...

Re: Donald Campbell's restored Bluebird in museum home row

Mike in short, No. Bill not so long said he was very happy for me to post, he said I offered well thought out intelligent comments. Bill has the right to remove me if he has changed his opinion. I am no different now to when I was posting before I left the forum. Controversial, thought provoking and...

No, there's too much pertinent information here, and it would only further feed the trolls if it was locked or in any other way moderated. I am however getting very sick of it becoming one man's personal forum.
30 posts in how many years Mike, get real.
