Re: "The Heart Of The Gnat"

I've heard that Gnats bite, so be careful ;)

hehe

Quick question..................

In the above photograph, where the tail rudder is in bare alloy, would the top of said rudder be at the approximate height of K7's tail?

Re: "The Heart Of The Gnat"

To think that had it not been for that fateful day, half of what is known about the craft now, would be lost in the deep realms of history.

A very sobering thought............................

Re: Bluebird Models

I was referring to the whole thing (plate i mean), It just seems somehow.......Odd.

Maybe it is the size of font, the spacing, the overall size or a combination of those three things, but somehow that reg number just seems odd to me.

Re: Bluebird Models

Might sound a silly question, but would Donald's E-type have been straight blue, not metallic? (not convinced about the reg number on that FB photograph of the model either....)

Re: Pic of the Day

[SNIP] Good point, if put in a slightly accusative manner! [/SNIP] It wasn't intended that way Mike, I just meant that after all the stellar work so far, it seemed quite odd that the skins were beyond salvage given the photograph used for POTD. My appologies if it came across in that manner. What I...

Re: Pic of the Day

I must admit to being a little bemused by the description of todays POTD. After all the work done on resurrecting many acres (metaphorically speaking) of bent and crumpled tin, why are the outer intake skins beyond saving? Is there a photo showing the full skin to back up the "The skins are beyond s...
