Re: Carl Spencer

Yep.
On reflection i think we should consider changing the venue from the cloud and harp to the fire and brimstones arms. At least we would guarantee a 99 per cent turn out, I'm Sure St Peter would allow me a day pass out to come.

Re: Carl Spencer

Would also be interesting to meet up with the buggers that designed them sponsons and ask what were they thinking. I have seen grown men cry trying to replicate them. if i get a bit of time I might write a scenario of us all in heaven for the next diary entry. would make a change from my sports repo...

Re: Carl Spencer

5 years? Jeez where does the time go. Mind you if there is such a thing as eternal life there is going to be one hell of a get together when we all go up there. We can normaly empty a pub within 20 minutes, would be great if there was a pub up there called the cloud and harp or something which we co...

Re: Across The Kitchen

Part of the film Billy Elliot was filmed in the back lane of my wifes old house and her back gate was featured for at least 30 seconds. Wonder if that could be worth a few bob.

Re: Across The Kitchen

Re: The Barracuda Project

Looks like i will have to get me ball chasing wireless installed in there on a permenant basis. As for the o2 stuff Rob, will be no use to me, i wouldnt know where to start looking for the valves in one of them should it go off. But as everyone is saying the tail is coming along at a canny pace now ...

Re: The Barracuda Project

Great diary piece again. Mind you Bill wasnt kidding about the cold in there, By the time the valves had warmed up on me ball chasing wireless it was half time. I tried to have a sly smokie tab in there but the flame froze on my lighter, was nice to go outside to warm up. Great progress though. Well...

Re: Coniston- January 1967/January 2013/2014

Have checked the M.D.R.O rules and having dust on the throat before starting a session doesnt constitute penalty points. So. Bill despite being a Geordie meets the requrements of A class drinker. As i said before the rules are much stricter in this class. And penalty points apply Example. Rule 14- 2...

Re: Coniston- January 1967/January 2013/2014

Just to Clarify. I have been in touch with the M.D.R.O (Mackem Drinking Records Organisation) As in speed records there are different clasifications of drinker. For the novice drinker. Rules are to qualify for a record 1) Drinker must go no longer than 11 minutes between pints including waiting time...
