Good vid, especially the cows bit.

I wonder if there could be a way to get Mister Noble interested in getting back the WWSR?

What do we need him for?

Well he's got a good track record with the Land Speed Record and there doesn't appear to be any serious Water Speed contenders at the mo. I mean Quicksilver talk the talk and all that, and quite rightly K7 isn't going to be going flat out again.

Unless you've got something up your sleeve for when the blue boat is finished?

We've discussed building a new boat many times. And, let's face it, we'd certainly hit the ground running. We have a wealth of data from a genuine record breaker, a workshop, sponsor base, more engineers than you can shake a stick at not to mention our volunteer team and working with new material is a laugh and a joke compared to mending squashed stuff. I suppose all it would take is some motivation but at the moment a year off at the end of this little lot sounds more tempting.

Nice little piece, is that. And better still it's called a 'diary' and not that other word. Wonder where they came up with the idea?

Come on then, what's it going to be RoJ or JoR? I reckon they'll stick with RoJ

Yeah-concur with that-(a) jet is a heavy item to stick on top of the car-kinda bugger up the CoG-(b) if rocket engine blows the pilot is sitting in front of it!-on top it just may blow off the top of the car-or be blown with a "chicken switch" (c) sizes- jet is far bigger than rocket-car would look "funny" and thrust vectoring may be "off". :geek:
