Wow! Those Sponsons must be big... sorry, wrong thread :-)

Seriously, that's an awful lot of impressive and expensive machined alloy there. Looks absolutely wonderful - thanks for sharing

Maybe after a K7 and a Barracuda you might feel a 2015 project worth pursuing :?:

Got lots of engines and such - bring the project and we'll look at it.

I still think we should go for the jet-powered forklift record :-)

According to the knowledgeable on another forum, the engines you must have are of the "RR Jinxed" type  Now if you had three Vipers ..... :!:

Will the jet - forklift have rear wheel steering ............. if it does I will just stand and watch, from about 1/2 mile away.

Very interesting, and extremely sad that this is taking place at the same time that the clown-in-chief...sorry, I mean secretary of state for education, is trying to remove Design & Technology from the National Curriculum.

Whereabouts on the vehicle does this go? Is it a 'diffuser' in the F1 sense, accelerating the low pressure air under the car and smoothing its return to ambient, higher pressure, slower speed, conditions (I think I got that right :/) thus generating down-force. Is it a 'diffuser' in the jet engine internals sense, the section at the rear of the compressor stages that slows and pressurises the air prior to the combustion stage (I presume not, as you wouldn’t be messing around with the internals of the EJ200's)? Is it a 'diffuser' in the Inlet sense, slowing and raising the pressure of the air heading for the front end of the engine? Or is it going somewhere else entirely?

My money is on the Inlet by the way. (Actually, its on the fin, in the shape of the names of 8 family members plus yours truly. But you get the general idea.)
