Re: What did you do at the weekend?

Post by thunderer »

Three days of Ale, Ale, Ale, and Ale, plus a few bicycles and a touch of Karaoke......All at Billing Aquadrome in Northamptonshire

I'm on the right in the below pic, with flat cap and red neckerchief (My steed is the yellow Chopper with handlebar shield). On top (and below) the "table" on the left side is a combined total of 70 pints of real Ale. the box on the right side under the table is fizzy pi....., sorry, LAGER! All the ale was drunk by 4a.m.Sunday morning.

Spent the weekend riveting an old boat back together. The rivets are copper and the boat is made of wood but, if you look closely you can even spot choccie sauce! Oh, and the boat was once blue....

I don't believe a word of it- it's not all up and down your arms or anything! ;)
Au Contraire; look at the hand holding the hammer and observe the brown stain half way down the forearm...

It's not obvious from that shot where the engine goes?

If Bill spies a claw hammer in the BBP workshop, he slings it...
Flippin' right I do! Claw hammers are for wood-butchery and making things from dead trees so they have no place in the tin-bashing world. Now what's all this about human powered? We're talking about the hammer, yes?

Ahem. A clinker-built sailing dinghy if you please, of similar vintage to a certain big blue tin boat ;)
