With the ‘spar table’ permanently bolted into place once and for all, Mike set about it with the brushes to apply the usual thick coat of ‘suitably shabby’ silver paint.
Going to be a really tight fit that ;) . But looking the mutts nuts none the less :D excellent Mr. Bullfrog

Today's POTD shows just how far the project has come. Even with no engine, the central hull looks complete.

Obviously there's still a way to go. But every once in a while a new pic. encapsulates the astounding progress.

Today's picture, showing the shabby silver (08/09), is a timely reminder of how much work (and workmanship) on the craft will be hidden from view once K7 is completed. A great job by all of the workshop 'crew'.

Equally, now that it's all one colour it's easier to see the dramatic offset of the frame. The foremost bulkhead (F-22) appears to have its hole off-centre and the flange plates where it rivets into the frame are all off to one side. This is because the frame was an inch wrong at the front and the entire front end, floors, outer skins, bulkheads, the lot, were offset at Samlesbury to compensate.

Excellent shot of the boat being put on to her dolly. Now getting ready for fitting the systems into the old girl :) And the left hand side of the workshop floor is clear of all those panels. Nicely put away upstairs by my good self and Jersey Mike along with the Flutes etc to get the workshop nice and clean and free of clutter. The upstairs is all sorted now and back in a usable condition with lots more space to boot. Even Mike's fabrics can be gotten to without clambering over all sorts of items. Taken a while on Saturday but got there in the end job done.SO KEEP IT TIDY AND PUT BACK WHAT YOU PULL OUT :D

Nice to see some rivets going back into the transom.

Those rivets have actually been in the transom for years, and the ones still absent are from where the rollover jig attached to her back end and passed over those locations. That's the way it will stay for now too because ultimately, she'll go back on the rollover set up in the final knockings to have her outer floors put back on.

Nice to see the pic of the expensive, impromptu coffee table.

So, the question is, whose mug belongs to whom?

We have, Terry Thomas, RAF roundel, Betta Blast, and Captain Pugwash...

Guss who? Hehe, this could be a good game.

Go on then - have a guess.
