Hey, I had a 3 litre Capri - very quick in its day (rather like me). Seats were black in mine though....

Wonder if it's possible to buy brown, checkie underpants because we're putting the air start system back on the engine now. The electric motor allowed us to prove out the lube system for the rear bearing and a few other things so now it's time to get back to working up the start system. The most it has ever delivered to the start turbine so far is a semi-skimmed 110psi - now it's time to crank it up to the full-fat 250psi.

We get 250psi through that start turbine and no one will want to be sitting downwind of anyone! It was explosive enough when it was in training mode.Well, I won't be sitting downwind of that checking rpm

Re: Pic of the Day
There's now only one spar frame to complete for Righty sponson. We have one from the back that isn't riveted yet, one from the front that we discovered an error in and that is being reworked and there's one that isn't set up yet but it's one of the redundant ones from the 'spar-normal' position that was never used so with a little luck tomorrow (Saturday) we'll bring Righty to the point where we can have the bottom skin painted. Once that's done we can start riveting the sponson structure together once and for all.
