Nothing defines true friendship quite like a well-aimed blow below the belt. I answered the phone earlier and was greeted by my best mate saying "Oh, you're not dead yet then..." I think I'd actually be genuinely worried that the doctors weren't telling me something if my friends suddenly started expressing serious concern!
Best wishes for a speedy recovery!

Re: Pic of the Day
It's going to be very interesting trying to build the things for real because all the parts are supposed to be integral with the outer skins, but you can't make the skins without the internal structure to base them on. It's a bit like trying to build a house starting with the roof. We've so far built all the internals on a complex wooden tool and we're going to have to erect them with a few rivets here and there so we can then use them to get the skins right.

Big push to get left sponson finished and ready for the paint shop tomorrow. Anyone within striking distance of Tyneside want to come and do a few hours?

We finally got lefty sponson finished and ready for the paint shop, all one hundred and eleventy parts and that's just the stuff for the insides! Righty sponson is now on the tool for the final push before it too goes for painting. A good day in the workshop.

Bill
A clothe to keep builders dust off ............
Tell Santa to give us an early Christmas present and unveil lefty.
Or is this like London buses ................. we have to wait until the second one comes along.
(Might I suggest that for the next 'teaser' photo you get continuity to spread some muck on the floor and other horizontal surfaces.)
And finally when will we see ..................................
