I don't want to sound as if I am on my soap box but Sorry Mike and all but I have just had to post and point out that Bluebird K7 was design by both of the Norris Brothers Lou and Ken combined. I keep seeing the design referred to in postings as being designed by Ken alone but Lou was with Donald from the start in 1949 and did the Hydrodynamics and Ken joined later with Donald after the White Hawk attempt and did the Aerodynamics. But it was both of them that designed the Bluebird K7 boat and the Bluebird C.N.7 car together. I feel in the past Lou has been overlooked and when discussing the designer or designers it should be referred to as the Norris's brothers design. Lou never got in the spot light and always tried to stay in the back ground which is probably the cause of problems in the past with true recognition to both brothers.

We know Lew was about but you'll never find his name at the bottom of a drawing.
Ken, on the other hand, is all over them.

That one is with Bettablast now and the other is on the tool for its final round of parts. Once they're painted they'll be assembled by our expert riveters and the next job after that is to get the boat off the rollover jig to fit them for their captive nuts and get one of our engines in the hole to finalise the linkages. Exciting times ahead...

Not for a moment. The trouble being that we so need something to bolt it to first. It's being rotated back to the top of the list as we speak.
