Those are some of the obvious commercial hits - but there's lots of other good stuff too, like Get Over It, Rocky Mountain Way (a Joe Walsh solo originally) and Don Henley tracks like Sunset Grill. I will bring the aforementioned MP3s on a memory stick then.... ;)

I believe we've got that on some middle of the road Dad-rock compilation
You'd never imagine Checkie liking anything with a description like that, would you...

Gee, thanks Chaps - p#ss taking is well up to the standard I have come to love and expect. Anyway, I was working on my Eagles/Dad Rock compilation when Mrs Checkie noticed the keen interest in Strictly Come Dancing amongst certain Workshop members... and has suggested I include some appropriate music for them - how about Des O'Connor and maybe Val Doonican?

Ive got some Val among my modern stuff. Love the Elusive butterfly and Paddy Mc Guintys goat. While looking through my collection for Bridge over troubled waters L.P for Bill, found a Slade L.P in there, god knows where that came from, Bit heavy for me. As Simon and Garfunkel seems to be sorted, I have some sing along with Max which i am sure would cheer the workshop up.

Val Doonican is a legend! I'd happily sing along to Delaney's Donkey, The Jarvey Was a Leprechaun and The Juice of the Barley. Bring it on!

Give Bill a lift in my car yesterday looks like Iron Maiden is out as well

Have you come across a genteel little German group called Rammstein? They specialise in relaxing melodic rock ballads. Well worth a listen. :D

I am very disappointed to find no mention of Spinal Tap or Status Quo :(
