What an excellent night with my fellow team member's and S.R.C member's up at the Sun Hotel tonight. Mike six pints (although we tried in vain to talk him into a seventh ) had some interesting altercations with a couple of Rottweilers during the evening but he is if off to bed with Jordan and everybody else is doing their own thing The Speed record Club gathered in Coniston over the course of the weekend to mark the 4th January as normal and pay their respects to our Hero. David Tremayne gave an excellent talk down at the Waterhead Hotel as did Bill updating the Club with what goes on with K7. Having consumed a vast amount of alcohol tonight we have had "A Jolly old Time" P-ss on the Clutch

Fun little trip away. Really enjoyed that. Went to the motor museum for the first time where I was very surprised at how small the Across the Lake prop is. It's tiny compared to the real boat. Stopped off at the trout farm on the A69 on the way home too so the kids could catch our tea.

Another thing I forgot to mention was that I really enjoyed doing that little presentation at the Waterhead. It was a lot of fun with plenty of audience participation.
