Erm... I don't think you should be the one pointing the finger about that, do you, Novie? We've had a few Saturday morning evacuations from Unit 1 following your Saturday morning evacuations...Is that something to do with your backside and to many profiteroles again

Well, it would be a shame not to run K7 at Coniston, but it's not the only possible location ...........Digitaljunior wrote:The local paper is running a week long Poll on whether Bluebird should run on Coniston again.

Hahahahahahaha sorry I had to laugh at the poll thing, the numerous emails contacts from hundreds and hundreds of people saying they can't wait for the boat to come home and run on the lake again, well wishing, the works literally hundreds, unless Coniston has a secret society nation we have not seen yet
Just spotted the poll for "should Chinese lanterns be banned". Polls for all sorts its quite cool to be fair.

YES votes now 30% so keep voting. Don't think that multiple votes from a single address would work?
Oh, and the "YES" bar is a nice shade of Bluebird Blue; don't let the Yellow bar stay ahead!

Re: The Elephant In The Room
I wouldn't regard any internet poll as a reflection of the true feelings of the general public.
See, I remember a very similar one a while ago relating to off-tarmac driving in the same area. It was heavily skewed against the 4x4 world by being spread around every rambler website going and you can be very sure that some of them were voting repeatedly. Depending on how the poll is set up you'd either just have to delete your history/cookies or reboot your router to get a new IP address, then vote again.
There is probably a distinct crossover between your more hysterical antis and the anti-vehicle mob. They just can't get their heads around ideas like sharing the countryside, accepting that some bits of it may be noisy for brief periods, or that they can use the hundreds of miles of countryside where vehicles have never been permitted if they're that desperate not to see any evidence of human activity.
As for PH, a bit of reading suggests that it's one of those sites where whatever you post, whatever you do, it's wrong!
