The miracles seem to come mostly from the hypoxic brain injury victims and less so from the TBIs. I think all that was needed to be said was said in the early press releases when the surgical staff described damage to both sides of the brain... and the middle.There is always a chance of a miracle, I guess.
One side or the other, maybe, but not both and when the brain stem is involved too it seems not unreasonable to say that the game is up. But I'm no neurologist, so here's hoping.
