Is something happening tonight or what?
Richie and me have just finished in the workshop and we're back in tomorrow - have we missed something?

No, sorry - I really have tried to form a coherent and believable sentence containing both "Bill Smith" and "missed something" but have failed completely. Had a lot more success when I changed the word "something" for "nothing" .... :-)

Checkie- try again by adding 'the last few decades of popular culture'.
Yes - and you may as well lump in the fact that I've no idea who won the world tiddlywinks championships for those few decades either. After all, it's about on a par so far as useful information goes...

I do believe you can find this information at the site of the English Tiddlywinks Association (http://www.etwa.org).To get you started, here are the results for the Tiddlywinks World Singles (WS) matches for the last 10 years. This is the game's highest accolade, and is played on a challenge basis. A player must become the National Singles champion in order to challenge the current World Singles champion to an official match. These are played over seven games.

WS67 Oct 13 Cambridge Patrick Barrie beat Larry Kahn (USA) 26-23 3-4
WS66 Oct 12 Cambridge Larry Kahn (USA) beat Patrick Barrie 28.5-20.5 4-3

WS64 Sep 10 Washington Larry Kahn (USA) beat Matt Fayers 26-16 4-2
WS63 Mar 10 Cambridge Matt Fayers beat Patrick Barrie 26-16 5-1
WS62 Oct 09 Cambridge Matt Fayers beat Matthew Rose 27.5-14.5 5-1
