I absolutely loved 'Big Dick' Ransom. A proper, old-school engineer with steam wagons and traction engines in his shed. He had some awesome rants about Swallows and Amazons fans showing up in his garden.

"They turn up here dressed as ****** pirates and l'm supposed to be ****** impressed!"
