As long as my gallbladder behaves (due for removal 2nd December) I shall be there as well, as a contributor. I have been asked if I have any copies of Leap Into Legend I could bring along. The answer is no, I didn't retain any, plus, it's David's day, not mine, I think it would be a bit off if I did have any and took them along!!

Finally got a copy of this from Santa. A well produced book in a hefty square format, with nicely reproduced photos, some of which are 'new' but many of which were also used in the author's previous 'Leo Villa's Photo Album'. (Or 'The Big Book of Donald', as we call it in the workshop)
I chuckled at the cutaway drawing of the boat in '67 form; someone has obviously been paying very close attention to our 'pic of the day' and other pages, as parts of the boat are drawn exactly to what we've done, including 'new' items such as our take on the cockpit steering pivot, and the inclusion of our temporary, dangling installation of the cockpit wiring- since removed again- was a good one too. There were outright errors as well- the plumbing is all wrong on the swirl pot for one thing. But it's a great effort considering the detail packed into it, and heartening that someone is prepared to take notice of the fact that K7 actually still exists and can speak for herself- it's not all about having photo archives and old documents!
Good stuff.

One part had me howling laughing... the 'Larch Towers'.parts of the boat are drawn exactly to what we've done
They're not called Larch Towers, for goodness sake! We made that up.
