World Airspeed Record Attempt
Steve Hinton Jr is going to attempt to beat the current record held by Reno Bearcat Rarebear tomorrow (27th). In the Reno P-51 he usually races, Voodoo. It has had the wing modified among other things & a full paint strip, being finished in a hi gloss white. He acheived 565 mph in a dive with his ather following him down in an F-86.

The record attempt will be level. The dive was part of the stability test.
