Hi team
Are there any plans to have video cameras in the cockpit filming a Donald's-eye view?
Cheers

We will video the instruments and pilots' actions but not a Ted or Stew's eye view.

I feel that Bill and the team should have the choice, they have earned that right.
Having followed the story for some years, and read about the immense time and effort in re-using and reforming original 'fabric', I find the idea of 'a Go-Pro stuck on the canopy' absolutely abhorrent, especially as a visual concept. For example, where does that fit with the ideal of retaining the 'buttoned down sides' appearance?

I suspect the internal cameras are primarily for post run diagnostics.
If they wanted a FPV, following the standards they have set regarding 'essential and practical upgrades', the target might be a more discrete faired housing, as per current F1 cars.

Regardless of the above, I will respect whatever decisions Bill and the team make.

Regards.

We have plastic ponchos, plastic sheet, camping chairs, mozzy wipes, midgey hoods etc etc and a willingness to sit out in the rain like any true folk from Lakes/Durham/North Shields...

Good luck with the travel up, we hope to see you Sunday/Monday if we can push past any crowds or that might be me bobbing around in the Loch on a Lielow - can't wait to visit.

Weather forecast is not great but that adds to the tension, its the only chance we have, even if shes not on the water, it will be good to see her, and yourselves in the natural environment of a true piece of history - it looks beautiful up on Loch Fad, and Bluebird looks better each day!

You can be rightly proud , even if you are apprehensive of the next few weeks, this is something no-one has achieved before, and its taken years of blood, sweat, and tears no doubt.

Again - Good Luck, I am sure you'll face up to any challenges and most of all, enjoy it!

Can't wait to get amongst the kind people of Bute again. Been going there since I was 16 years old. Al little guy called Johnny Leask and his mum rented boats from the harbour and he was happy to just let me and my pal take one even when he wasn't around and square up with him later on an honesty basis.
