The Corporal's Poster

Post by how-di-do »

Dear all,

I have just received my Charity Poster from Fred, and couldn’t stop myself from telling you all. I did hear that not many have placed an order yet, I can't think why, and with all the proceeds going to the “Corporal’s” hospital too!

The poster is wonderful, the colour’s, detail, just right. If you miss this, you will be sorry.

Anna.

[quote="Renegadenemo"]Also, in the original painting the blue of the small piece of wreckage (actually the tip of the nose with the crossed flags) is made of genuine K7 paint that we ground into a fine powder and Arthur worked into the painting.
See below a detail shot of the nose wreckage and one of Arthur's early sketches as he worked on the composition.

Better still - Arthur has generously donated fifty prints to the project to which he is going to add a genuine brush stroke making each one unique. Anone want one?

Yes, most definitely ! Please put me down for one.

What an absolutely stunning pictue!

How do I place the order? Will they be distributed through the online shop?

A quick update. We've moved ahead with making 'Patience' available so keep an eye out for it on the shop. There will only be 50 available via the project so when they're gone they're gone.

That's him. Arthur is both a very gifted artist and a thoroughly good bloke. He's also a little mad, which is why he fits in so well with the rest of us, or vice versa.
