The second one is on an identical maintenance stand as the one we have. It weighs more than the engine!

Tidying up around the desk and found some saved quotes, this one is perhaps appropriate:
"Nothing is a waste of time if you use the experience wisely"

And then there's our favourites...
No such word as can't.
It'll fix
No one is totally useless, they can always serve as a good example of a bad example.
and, my absolute favourite.
If you don't give in you can never fail...
All this sitting around is wholly unnecessary. Not like we don't have lots of other stuff to keep us busy, mind you. We have
Jetstar, our old RIB and
Predator to recommission ahead of K7's next outing and our gift of a Derwent engine to our aerospace partners to shine up and install but at this rate finishing our big tin machine is going to take another year.
As the kids would say - just why?

Sounds very much to me like K7 is going to be gathering a lot of dust this year and not seeing open water .

Hopefully not. After all, the deal was done in 2013 and agreed by all concerned so it just needs a little polishing up and set in stone. Trouble is, there's still a heap of work to do on the boat and if we don't get there in time to get on the water this year everyone loses.

It looks like we'll have abort on flying in for 2019 as we're running out of time, meaning that all flights and accommodation will have gone soon. I was expecting to hear that it would be Bute again, but seemingly, not ?
