The mailing list is on its way just to knackered to sort it out last night
Mailing list processing should take 8 hours to process the full list

Sounds like you have a strict rate limit in place on your outgoing email server - many of them introduce short delays into email sending and increase the delay size with each identical email going through until you're facing delays of many minutes per email. A word with your ISP would be in order.

Looking into another FREE way to send mass mails, Easy if we pay for it but money coming in goes to the big tin boat not the IT Dept

Re: BBP Diary
7.2 hours I wouldn't see as being a problem, when you think how often the diary is changed and it could run through the night, It's not like everyone will be at their computer when the mail enters their inbox, plus if everyone logged onto the site at the same time, that would throttle our bandwith also.
Re: BBP Diary
Thanks for another great diary, Bill. Though you lost me bit at the AFRC...or was it the PRL...whatever! I'll have another go tomorrow when my brain cools down.
Impressed that everyone around that table is looking in such good order that far into a skinful - all except for Girl who clearly needed assistance to stop her landing in a heap on the floor. At least I was impressed until I scrolled down to the Ike and Tina Turner picture.

What was left out of the diary was that Rob and Bill were sing to Ernie (the fastest milkman in the west)

Re: BBP Diary
What can I say... I like the karaoke. It's just another technical challenge - trying to get a difficult number note-perfect. But there's not much to be gained from singing Ernie, I have to admit.

Got to agree with Mike reference the karaoke. Bill did ruin the rendition of Ernie somewhat. I think i will have to go solo on that in future. . Great night otherwise though.
