Thanks for that - we may just take you up on that offer as we don't have a lot of time for extra websites and there's not too much written about the Barra'. The tailplane spars are coming on very nicely now - or at least they were 'til we nicked our two Barra' apprentices to rivet K7's engine cover as soon as they were up to the required standard. The site will be going live very soon.
That sounds great. Drop me a line if you need some text, I'd be happy to help out.
Glad the spars are coming along well. Now the work is underway, I don't suppose I could have a word with a view to a magazine feature at some stage could I?

Don't see why not - PM me a contact number and I'll give you a call if you like.

I have just spent a highly enjoyable time looking at the new Barracuda website. It's a great site, recording a very worthy and fascinating Project and I hope it inspires others to get involved.

Will the Barra' website (which s excellent so far) be graced, as the BBP is, with a forum or shop at a later date? or have I missed mention of those in a prior post?

S'pose it'll come down to the level of interest at the end of the day. The Barra' project is very young at the moment and mainly provides a training ground for our newbies - though I do confess to having puzzled over a chunk of tailplane leading edge this week between bouts of sponsonology. We'll see.

Especially proud of that, I am. From being museological heretics ten years ago to now working officially with one of the UK's biggest and most prestigious museums... We've genuinely brought something new and worthwhile to the museum world.

Great diary piece again. Mind you Bill wasnt kidding about the cold in there, By the time the valves had warmed up on me ball chasing wireless it was half time. I tried to have a sly smokie tab in there but the flame froze on my lighter, was nice to go outside to warm up.
Great progress though. Well done the Barra babes.
