She's one of those page 3 girlies. You know, she gets her dumplings out for the newspapers. A smidge chubby for my tastes but overall rather nice.

I sent them over for Dave's entertainment and he's an Aussie - need I say more?...some of the images in that link above are of course what's usually deemed 'not safe for work'

It really is so true that every piece tells a tale, each as if a small chapter in a detective novel, and pictures such as this each have the ability to keep me fascinated for half an hour or more. If you can understand the language, every crease tells you about the direction and nature of the force it was subjected to and every subtle change in shade reveals a stretch or compression, not only from the accident but also from how each has been persuaded to regain its former glory. I too often find myself getting so lost in these details that's all too easy to forget that there was a poor soul in the middle of it all, and remembering that fact as a frame-by-frame visualisation of how each bit of damage got there is playing through my mind sends a shiver through my soul every time, without fail.

With the sponsons still 'unclothed', I think it might be time to get Gok Wan and the 'How to Look Good Naked' team up there - Really, darlings, purple with green??! What are you thinking??

Re: Pic of the Day
The main hull was the worst but that's about done now. Only the outer floors and sides to put back there. The sponsons are also very near completion in that we have one core finished, one about to be riveted then it's skins and lower surfaces to go on but they're all done so it's only assembly work. One sponson top to finish, the other to build from scratch and that'll be all the big bits.Three hulls = Three times the work!
She's going to look impressive the day we put the spars in and set the sponsons up for a looky-see.
