Hi All,
The rear of the craft has very similar lines to the original Blue Bird K3, but with a much reduced drought. Does that help any?

Hi Again,
It reminded me of a photo I acquired off the Internet last week, and then it hit me why. I thought "OUR" K7 was "K7", I'll go loo0k it up and come back.

Photo's of her from the 50's to how she's displayed now show her as K2.

Zoomed in on the higher res pic & it definately looks like a 7. The 2 is completely different to even resemble a 7. Can't repost the higher res pic as this site can't handle it :(

............. as these designations were from Lloyds for insurance purposes that "K-7" is quite clear on Miss England (or it is to me even if part of it does touch the circle) - so did someone in Lloyds issue the correct numbering to any of the craft which followed, including Donald's big blue boat ... ??

I might just concede a difference between the numbers on the two sides of the craft, but the clearest pictures shows that on the starboard it is a '7'. :o

Hmm - does this mean we've built it all the wrong shape? The K7 in those pictures doesn't look like what we've made.
