neigh an active demonstration of gyroscopic precession methinks..... :ugeek:
Yes indeed - and it's possibly the hardest concept to explain - ever. That said, I'm off to a lecture by Prof' Peter Higgs of Higgs Boson fame next week so I daresay he'll top that.

And just in case anyone was looking at today's pic of the day and wondered where 'Manbat' came in, it's actually short for Manchester Batteries and they have the license to use the Lucas brand, (as per K7's original batteries) which is why we asked for their help.

A wonderful sight to see the floors finally underway! :) It may take a little while longer to repair and refit them than it did to remove them!!!!!!
Having spent many a happy hour taking rivet after rivet out way back in 2007 I think it was? :)

Aha good man Mike 2006 it is then. Not that far out with the grey matter :D And of course December (If memory serves me correctly ) 2006 being the time Bill kicked the Happless Lot into touch and we began the restoration in 2007. Excellent can't wait to get my hands on a rivet gun again. However at deaths door at the mo with the man floo, severe tooth ache and an injured back so all in all good to go
