Looking good especially the last shot of the S.O.A II running right to left looks in perfect balance. Reminds me of another certain boat with that tail fin without tail-plane. Will they need to add one as the speeds increase? Only time will tell I suppose. Will be keeping and eye on this now they are up and running. Any videos links to these test runS Mike? Was hoping it was going to be next year they attacked the record as would have liked to have gone over!! Can somebody pull the plug out at Blowering Dam to hold them up :D

Good Luck Ken and Dave

Lovely to hear that very, very familiar sound...
I watched the videos (kept a bucket by the side of my chair in case my Facebollocks experience became unbearable) and thought, what a very familiar and distinctive sound. Then I came back to post and found it had already been said.
Great to see the boat going. Looks like he had to get out of the throttle almost immediately and with very little power on too. That thing is going to go like a scalded cat!

That was my first run... In a jet boat.... I hit my own wake from idling down to turn around, and get it on the plane, it wriggled in the back slightly as I hit the wake, I got off it a bit..... Taree is only a couple of Kms long,

I had a bunch of runs today, a tad over 110mph, the boat tracks straight, the team achieved all our goals for the weekend, speed wasn't a goal for this weekend, but it's a beautiful boat to drive, I feel comfortable in it, all systems worked without fault.... ... Off to Blowering in Sept for longer, faster runs..

You will see plenty of video soon, onboard , drone etc, on our way home :ugeek:

Yes, great stuff indeed! Looking forward to the next phase of testing. Be safe in that thing!

Brilliant footage, the drone perspective almost makes it look like cgi, wonderful, I'd love to go over & see a run, but I don't do spiders!
Cheers
Take care!!!
