I added the Varsity/SRA1 info as a note in the original press release but news is just too stripped down and moves to fast to get all the detail in or get it right. Doesn't work that way...

Tis the modern way. The old school copywriters I used to work with put the juicy stuff first. That way when the Editor ran out of space he just chopped the less useful stuff off the end.

Re wiring loom. Completely stands to reason when you think about. It travels on the floor of the boat and therefore why would you need to cut it when the intakes are off. Have we identified which wires were cut and then rejoined?

I believe Mike is right. My logic is that both the specific tachometer wiring for the Orpheus and that for the fire panel were added or modified in the 1966 rebuild and as such, it is unlikely they could have been inserted into the trunking, which was already well filled with the main wiring loom.

Quick question about the adding of material to the floors. If they overlapped one way do the panels butt up in the other direction or do you have to joggle the bit your adding?
