That was the best fun in the world. Really enjoyed doing that.

That was the best bit of telly we've ever done - from making the film with Andy a week earlier to the final edit and fun in the studio with Matt, Alex, Simon and Olivia. It was a hoot from start to finish and extremely professionally produced by the Beeb. Lots of interest and positive comments from all directions plus a welcome shot in the arm for the project in terms of sales of merchandise and donations. We're spending a bit to gt to Bute as we have no sponsor on this trip - not that we're looking for one. We'd rather keep such things in-house so the savings are getting battered. But, no matter, we'd not change things for the world.
Also great fun to have a laugh with my old pal, Gina. We had our own room with snacks and comfy chairs (the sign on the door said 'star room', which made us laugh). Matt came to visit as we'd worked with him some years ago on a Radio 4 piece - how I wish we had the banter to sell as a DVD.

Altogether an excellent day and a privilege to represent the team and help show off all their hard work. Enjoyed it hugely.
