Did you ever use those switches I sent to you?

Post by Grant »

Just wondering if those old light switches I sent up to you were ever used - you know the three position Lucas switch from the MKI Mini?

Isn't the water brake switch that type?

No, not the same. The Water brake is momentarily On - OFF - momentarily On.
The light switch is OFF - On - On.

I was of course joking about wanting them back. There was a wink added ;)

Mike had asked for them ages ago and it took some doing to find period originals and not repros. They were sent with best wishes for the project and I know others have contributed a lot more but it would have been nice to know they'd been of use. That's all.

The trouble with forums/texts/e-mails is there's no intonation/little or no scope for subtlety of expression.

Result? A national epidemic of second-rate communication.

Hi, you've reminded me of the tin of skin-pins I sent you, via MARK EVANS. Were you ever able to use any of them? They came from the LOLA CARS production line, but I've never seen any of them in the P.O.T.D.'s.

All the best, FRED
