Re: Bute / Coniston Back to Back

I’d think it totally in order for the Trustees to have to consider a request to open dialogue...and as sure as a cat is a ...

Re: Donald Campbell's restored Bluebird in museum home row
It’s like a game show isn’t it? The quizmaster opens the envelope, and to groans from the audience he announces that you gambled in one final spin of the wheel, lost the lot, ended up with Dusty Bin and this is what you could have won. I suppose the sight of lifeless parts of Bluebird strewn within ...

Re: Donald Campbell's restored Bluebird in museum home row
I thought this some months ago, but felt that it was just my 'black and white' way of looking at things.
Now that Bill has mentioned it I fear it is a step closer...the Ruskin Museum will receive the parts of K7 that they own...delivered in a skip.

Re: Bluebird Runs 2019
If K7 was going to run in 2019 it would have been announced and sorted by now if all parties were happy . Clearly theres a major issue and just like the nine month three month deal it looks like its never going to come to fruition. Bloody glad you're not my oncologist! We've weathered far worse sto...

Re: Bluebird Runs 2019
Well some of the water safety team headed up north into the snow this morning to hone our skills regarding casualty recovery drills, learning from the very best at St Abbs lifeboat :) Was cold but well worth it ! #trainingwontstop. Not wanting to hijack the subject, but freshwater v seawater...inla...

Re: Bluebird Runs 2019
...but having the clout to stop Bluebird running anywhere? That sounds like a fairly major power shift... I hope you're wrong but if this is what's happened then it will probably be war with the Ruskin in court. Bill can you clarify anything at this stage? Yep. Easy to misinterpret one liners and g...

Re: Bluebird Runs 2019
I can see the Ruskin not wanting to be part of a joint venture & against K7 running any where other than once down Coniston - that is their default position after all...but having the clout to stop Bluebird running anywhere? That sounds like a fairly major power shift...

Re: Bluebird Runs 2019
Intriguing. Could one be permitted to read between the lines, put 2 & 2 together, come up with 7 & muse that the location is different than 2018?

Re: Technical Talk
Been following the twitter feed / pics for a while now. Something that intrigued me today...re original & new panels - it looks like only parts of original panels are there? How did you integrate original with new and have you found any of the original parts to have any particular metal fatigue ...
