Re: Donald Campbell's restored Bluebird in museum home row

If someone could pull some strings and get one of the model K7 s with a real turbine to run at the full-size K7 's next outing that would be awesome. I had the same idea. How beautiful would that be? If Ernie gets over his psycho-elephant thing - which I think he can - then this would be so cool.

Cool ! Running brushless, EDF, or turbine ?
Brushless motor, surface piercing prop, close to 70k RPM, 4kg of weight and about 32 HP at acceleration. 0-180mph in about 2s. Maybe 3. :D

Re: Isle of Bute

Our strip inspection and rebuild will take us comfortably to the last week in July 2019 and that happens to end with a live music festival on the island and we might just be able to tempt some of Marillion along to perform Out of This World if we ask nicely. What does everyone think? Yes, yes, yes,...

Re: Donald Campbell's restored Bluebird in museum home row

I could/should have know as one of my favourite bands/singers songwriters sings about it: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KrwSDX95wCs We had so much fun too. We'll be there wherever you put on a show next year and this time for longer, not just for 1 1/2 days. And if you lads like, we can bring some...

Re: Donald Campbell's restored Bluebird in museum home row

Joerg let's not get personal. It's the business of anyone who has contributed towards the rebuild or the building of the Ruskin Museum extension. Honestly, I just wanted to know why you keep pushing this question. I didn't understand it, because my experience tells me that it's much better to not a...
