Re: FAQ

Oh dear, Taz. I hope you have thicker skin than the last guy who posted questions without first reading the diaries. I thought the idea of FAQ was to have some of the more basic stuff answered without needing to check the diaries? But no worries about a thick skin, I must have been called every jam...

Re: FAQ

My two-penneth. As the FAQ is where a lot of newbies and journos will go first, I'd suggest adding the following to the list:- * What is the Bluebird Project? (for those completely ignorant to all things BBP). * How much of Bluebird will be original given that the front was smashed very badly? * How...

Re: K7 Display

I'm sure I've seen a pic of K7 and CN7 together, maybe in Australia.

Think I saw it on speed record group but might be wrong.

Re: K7 Display

You can guess the rest... I can guess they had no good reason but said no anyway - but I'd love to know what they said. Its a real shame, I think K7 and CN7 should be reunited one last time, they'd look brilliant together. I also heard somewhere that the Golden Arrow that is next to CN7 at Beaulieu...

Re: Antiques Roadshow/Cockpit Discussion

Why would anyone want to keep hold of a part of K7 that could be used again - isnt that a bit stingey? I can understand things like the paint-chips and other bits that are otherwise useless. But when the boat is zipping up the lake again, all you'd be able to say is 'look at this bit of old metal th...

Re: Pic of the Day

What strikes me with the 2 recent cockpit pics (apart from the unbelievable repair work that I reckon a lot of readers take for granted now) is just why would anyone want to display it in that condition? I cant understand it in the slightest. To put into context, imagine if the F1 car that Ayrton Se...

Re: Across The Lake

Due to the unique way the bbc is funded...

Wonder if its worth harrassing the beeb - let them know they're potentially missing a trick? I'm sure across the lake would sell well in the museum when K7 is finished.

Re: Looking Back In Time- Archive Bluebird Photos

I really like the detail in that close-up one of the bluebird emblem, you can also see to the right where the nose picked up a few dents and bumps which I spose is hardly surprising.
