Maybe the mask was also a way of cancelling out noise so Donalds voice could be heard, I'd imagine it got pretty noisy in the cockpit and we all know that the quality of the sound that came back from Donald wasn't that good even with the mask. The 'pic of the day' has provided some really great pictures of the project. Might it be worth considering a 'gallery' or 'pictures' tab on the website so the pictures can be viewed if you've not logged onto the site for a few days? With the spars (before bird interruption) having rounded leading edges and equally flat tops and bottoms, surely air would have passed over both surfaces at an equal rate?
