One shilling was quite a lot back in 1955 not that Bill would know that being a youngster

In '67, I was a student and had a Mini-Van. As I recall, that amount would have got me about a gall. and a half of petrol, or nearly 70 miles from the 850cc engine. I could fill the tank for a quid -------------. Oh those marvellous Sixties!!

If folk were happy to pay a shilling in 1955 to see Bluebird how much would they be prepared to pay in 2011?

Pity K7 isn't a two seater-I'd happily pay a couple of hundred quid for a quick 100mph dash down Coniston!
