Help requested

Post by mickworth »

Hi all, I am looking forward to seeing the bluebird, I am a disabled chap, I am an amputee missing a right leg, I live just outside of London my trip to Bute has been well thought out, I am unable to drive so the scary bit is from the hotel in Rothesay to the loch I would be so grateful if one of our number would be kind enough to help me to the fisheries, I use prosthetics so can walk normally over short distances I've looked on Google earth and there doesn't seem to be any sign of life, I am sure that will change, be really good if I could hook up with other enthusiasts. Thanks to you all. Mike

Hi Mike,

I'm sure we can send a car for you then we'll nick your false leg so you can't get in the way. Get a message down to us when you're on-island and we'll sort something.

Thank you very much I do get myself into some dodgy places, sometimes I just forget my limitations, the boys down the pub have done all the normal nicking the leg, just pulling your leg and the leg over jokes, I still find it very amusing, no point being too serious looking forward to meeting everybody. Mick,

If you fancy a pillion ride, I'm coming up from Exmoor Somerset on the 2nd to watch the arrival and stay for a few days. You would be more than welcome on the back of a 1200GSA!

Failing that I can ride point for your convoy of helpers…

See you there.
