Sometimes these things go to the courtroom steps, before one side realises going in front of the court risks everything, then sense prevails and a deal is done.
Had a couple of those. One lot took it to the brink then withdrew completely and I got 100% costs, and that never happens. Another one pushed it quite a long way then bottled it and had to settle for what they could salvage at mediation. I'm in court on Thursday as it happens. Wish me luck... :D

Thanks... It went about as well as these unfortunate happenings can go. Nothing big or exciting, just someone who thought he could wriggle out of a debt. He's got two months to pay up now, which he could have done months ago without being hit for the court fees on top. Choose your battles, is the moral of that one.
