Was all the excitement made you ill. 
I've always advocated minimal kit for shallow drops. If it all goes wrong there's loads of free gas upstairs.

Sea could be thoroughly blown out next week, much rain and high winds...
Capernwray ? Only a short drive away and it’s V quiet presently which is a good thing.....handy for fitness and drills.

Fresh water cray fish maybe, loads of huge trout / salmon....Sturgeon.
Just thinking for nothing more than a fitness dip and some shut down drills etc for my twinset. Mess on with some lift bags et al
Lots of aircraft and large sunken boats to penetrate / mess about on.
It’s nothing more than an 18m training venue but it will keep our momentum going

Even when I was a diver I never dived lakes or quarries. With me it was never about diving for its own sake . If I couldn't find something that hadn't been found, see something that hadn't been seen or catch something nice for tea it held absolutely no appeal.
I never went to Scapa or Truk because it's all been done - not interested - and I never cared if a wreck was completely intact and standing on its keel or smashed to a million bits as long as it had some mystery and history about it. One of my favourite little wrecks is a WWII trawler called Girl Helen that was minesweeping and hit a mine she'd just pulled up. There's nothing but a jumbled bring and buy sale on the seabed in 20m of water that's not even visible to our sonar but we found her with our faithful magnetometer and we dived her and I guarantee no one else ever has. Now that's much more exciting.
